Heading Home is on a mission to end homelessness in Greater Boston by providing emergency, transitional and permanent housing, and support services to those in need. Looking to update their organization, I worked with team members at 829 Studios to dive into the rebrand. We sent out surveys and conducted interviews on site with several clients about their experiences with Heading Home. During our site visit, I spoke with a woman named Eralfrida who said that what brings her hope is imagining having her own front door to enter one day. This conversation inspired the logo concept that I worked on, centered around the idea of “Opening the Door to Self-Sufficiency”.
