Mary McDowell Friends School

UI/UX

MMFS is a school for students with learning disabilities located in Brooklyn, NY. They combine the values of Quakerism and a challenging curriculum to provide a safe, nurturing, and academic environment to allow each student to succeed. Their old site was focused on current families and was causing concerns to potential families that the school wasn't providing the academic skills and strengths that the students need for college. We conducted interviews with faculty/staff members and parents, did an analysis of their old site, worked on the information architecture to restructure the website to be geared towards prospective families, and worked with a copywriter on the content strategy. I then worked on the wireframes, visuals, and the art direction of the photoshoot used for the website.
